Spanish light luxury women's clothing brand Bimba y Lola has been growing steadily for many years. In the 2019 fiscal year ending February 29, sales increased by 12.6% to 226.7 million euros.
In fiscal 2018, Bimba y Lola's sales increased by 11.4% year-on-year. In fiscal 2019, its revenue was 25.4 million euros higher than in fiscal 2018. This reflects the growing demand for the brand's women's clothing and accessories series.
Bimba y Lola was founded in 2006 by sisters María Domínguez and Uxía Domínguez. It is mainly engaged in the design, production and sales of women's light luxury clothing. It is deeply favored by young women for its "ghostly" design style. Bimba y Lola currently operates in 18 countries, and the proportion of international sales continues to increase, reaching 33% of total revenue.
Malaysia and Hong Kong, China are the two latest overseas markets opened by Bimba y Lola. This year, the brand also opened new stores in Chile and Colombia. In fiscal 2019, Bimba y Lola added 13 stores and currently has a total of 285 stores worldwide, of which 117 are located outside Spain. Bimba y Lola's current business markets also include Mexico, South Korea, Singapore and other places.
Bimba y Lola said that in fiscal 2019, the brand achieved sales growth in all countries and channels, including offline physical stores and online e-commerce channels.
